BPW is actively promoting the use of electric fireplaces as an alternative to wood or gas burning units. 

It's hard to believe it is not a real flickering flame - add a "crackler" and it even sounds like the real thing! Even in the summer, when you don't need the heat, why not enjoy the atmosphere?T

There is a floor model on display at the BPW's Business Office.   Stop in and sit in front of the fire for a few minutes.
